Ah, Lord God, my beginning and end, my One and Only, You have chosen and adopted me.  I am in awe of Your love for me.  Make me aware of Your purpose for my life.  Come quickly, Lord Jesus in whose name I lift this prayer.  Make it so!

Hi Marie I would value your prayers my Mum phoned to let me know my Brother is in hospital fighting for his life, his kidneys are failing and our little furry friend Monty is also very sick and in a animal hospital, all in one day, I commented a few times but it is hard to focus, I should do a Post and ask for prayer but I’m feeling a bit lost, please pray I’m very worried, Alfred is not a Christian but I hope he remembers what we have shared with him over the years even if he rejected it at the time.

    My little Monty was so scared when we left him with the Vet, he is so gentle and loving, he just did not understand.

    • Anne, my heart is full for you.

      Heavenly Father, I’m lifting Anne and her family to You during this stressful time. Give her a calmness and peace by placing Your loving arms around here. Oh, Lord, let her know Your presence. Lord, I know that You know what will happen in the next days and hours, but get into this man’s heart and help him realize and remember what he’s been told. Bring him into the fold and let him know Your healing power. Let Your Spirit do its work.

      Lord, guide the veterinarians hands and mind in taking care of Monty. You have given us the incredible joy of loving the animals You created. Your healing hand is what is needed now.

      Almighty God, let this prayer reach across the miles. Give Anne the comfort and clarity she needs right now.

      All of this I bring before the Throne in the Precious Name of Jesus. Make it so!!!

So True Marie but as we know, other important questions need detail to explain, we can see this with the Scriptures, they have lots of detail and they are needed for the Big Picture ( see link below) or point as you said but sadly today most want short and sweet like their coffee, they want instant and not brewed but I haven’t worked out yet how to turn my heart off and I love to use Scripture, it says it much better then me but sad some don’t read them, I really like graphics too, they give the mind a rest, I wish we could add them to comments and not just smiles 😀

    • Think about this Anne. Without the years of faith and studying God’s Word neither of us would be able to say concisely what we believe in just a few words. I’m glad to be back on track. God has taken me through the valley in the last few weeks. Only through prayer have I made it back to the path again. What a blessing you are to me. Marie

    • Marie, thank you for those kind words and yes I agree that God uses everything in our Life to bring us close to Him but without Jesus we can’t understand the Scriptures and we can’t Believe fully unless we do.

      I was attending including my own and Ron’s, 30 Bible studies a year and was also reading 5 Christian books a week, plus listening to tapes and videos and Sermons, in the end I was very confused because there was a lot of conflicting teaching but I knew that the Holy Spirit does not say one thing to someone and something different to another when it contradicts, so some of them were in error, but who, this is why I called out to God who lead me to ask for His wisdom after I had asked for His help with my doubts, I see clearly now the Awesome Picture, so I’m no longer in darkness.

      Jesus warned the Pharisees who studied the Scriptures diligently that they needed to come to Him first and we too must humble ourselves and also ask as a child for His wisdom in Faith and Trust and for all of His other gifts too but we do not keep asking but believe we have received.

      Truth only worries us when we are in error, sadly people then reject it instead for seeking to understand God’s Truth by His wisdom through the empowering of The Holy Spirit, instead they continue to Trust in their own or others understanding and they then seek to pull others down who reject the error they teach or what they believe, this is why I do not share anything unless it is confirmed in the Scriptures.

  6. Hi Marie, I like how you have presented this Post its clear and to the point, sometimes detail is not needed, sometimes it is, I like your graphics too.

    I know that Jesus Christ is The Living Word ( see below) and that He is Part of The Godhead or The Trinity as we call Them today 3 in One, God in His fullness and that the Scriptures are inspired by God they are His Truth and that we need The Holy Spirit empowering us and having asked for and received God’s wisdom, Jesus our only Teacher leads us into all Truth.

    John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

    1John 5:7 For there are Three that bear record in Heaven, The Father, The Word, and The Holy Ghost: and these Three are One.

    1 Corinthians 8:5-7 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in Heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.(NKJV)

    Colossians 1:16-18 For by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the Head of the body, the Church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.
