I like how the song said with open hearts Marie, Jesus said to the Pharisees; you search the Scriptures but you don’t come to me and we too need Him first or we won’t understand God’s Truth.
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have Hope.(KJV)
We can understand the Scriptures because we have the empowering of the Holy Spirit and having asked for and received God’s wisdom we Trust in Jesus to lead us into all Truth , they are not just words as we know, they are God’s words and He has confirmed His Awesome reality in them, which we can see clearly in the realities that He describes from Genesis to Revelation, leaving no doubt that He is real .
