God Breathed

all-scripture

Can you imagine placing your hands on any page of your Bible and feeling His very breath on the page?   That is exactly what this verse is saying (to me).  This is how I see it – – if I can’t see Him face to face until I enter heaven then I’ll settle (hardly the right word) for experiencing His breath in the words I’m reading.

Think about the words of this beautiful chorus from the song “Ancient Words” by Lynn DeShazo.

Ancient words ever true, changing me and changing you; We have come with open hearts, oh, let the ancient words impart.

Friends, family, sisters, and brothers in Christ there is nothing more important than knowing God’s word.  In every action and situation of our lives we can draw on the Word and know without question it was written for that very purpose.

God did not leave us alone on this earth.  He is still breathing every word, in every verse, on every page of our Bibles.

Holy words long preserved for our walk in this world, they resound with God’s own heart; Oh, let the ancient words impart.

Ah, Lord, God thank You for every word, every phrase, every letter of Your Word.  Heavenly Father place a real hunger in our hearts to know Your words and use them for our lives.  Let us not only read them but let us use them.  Put teachers in our lives to help us understand them.  Drench us with the Holy Spirit as we read and learn how to apply them.  Make it so in Jesus name!

  1. I believe Marie also that the Original Scriptures were Inspired by God as the Scripture itself confirms but man in his ignorance has changed some of the words or taken them out of the Scriptures to suite their own understanding or they have used modern language which has changed their True meaning as we see below and this is why we ask for God’s Wisdom and Empowering none of us were born with them we will than know what is correct including with error in Translation.

Jesus our only Teacher by the empowering of The Holy Spirit tells us to Ask, Seek and Knock He will lead us into all Truth, We are to aim to be Perfected in Love (Matthew 5:48 – Hebrews 6:1-Philippians 3:14-16 -2Timothy 3:17-1John 4:16-19- 1John 2:4-6- 2Corinthians 13:11) putting our Carnal Flesh to death by The Spirit.(Romans 8 :12-15- Romans 6- Colossians 3:4-6 -Galatians 5:24 -26)

This is the correct Translation for 2 Timothy 3:17….. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for Doctrine, for Reproof, for Correction, for Instruction in Righteousness, that the Man and Woman of God may be Perfect and thoroughly equiped to do all His good works.K.J.V

1John 2:26-28 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you but as the same anointing Teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath Taught you, ye shall abide in Him.KJV

Colossians 2 :2 -3 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in Love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God and of the Father and of Christ In whom are hid all the treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge.KJV

1John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come and hath given us an understanding that we may know Him that is True and we are in Him that is True even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the True God and eternal life.KJV

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

James 1:5-6 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?

    Christian Love Always – Anne.
