God is always available!

He wants to hear our every want and need. He wants to be part of every joy and delight.

Abba, Father, calling on You is a great privilege and honor. Thank You for being always present for us in every part and path of our day. We give You all the glory!

This Day

God made this day especially for you!

Is today the day you have been called to…

Speak up – Proverbs 31:8-9

Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly – Micah 6:8

Live a holy life – 2 Timothy 1:10

Use your gift – 1 Peter 4:10-11

Go and tell – Mark 16:15

Whatever He has made for you to do today

JUST DO IT!

Abba, Father, thank You for making this day and setting it aside for each of us to do the work You have planned. Give us the joy and gladness that is in living for You.

No Fear

For God has not given us a spirit of fear but one of power, love, and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Perhaps ‘fear not’ is repeated so often (365 times in the NIV) because we need constant reassurance that God is always near and we can depend on His love! We can lean on His strength and count on His help. He is always near!

Think about His love… Think about His grace…

Abba, Father, show us Your Presence in every part of our lives. Take away any fear, worry, or anxiety and replace it with strength, love, and self-control. Hold us close and give us comfort.

Blessings and grace to you and yours!

Marie

Trust God

Are you trying to do it all yourself? Stop it!

God is in control.

Trust Him!

Let Him do His job.

He can and He will!

Abba, Father, forgive us for not turning to You with all of our issues and problems. Keep us mindful that You can do anything. Help us rely on You.

Blessings to you and yours!

Marie

Slow To Anger

Are you a person of calm temperament? Slow to anger?

The Bible has a lot to say about being slow to anger. “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” (Psalm 103:8) I found 52 (could be more) verses that talk about this subject. Not one of them said don’t be angry.

Anger is a reality in daily life, however, we should think through the best response. Perhaps, even, we should not respond at all. Slowing down and thinking through the possibilities is the better way. After all, it is God’s way.

Abba, Father, control our responses to life’s situations. Let our words be gracious, kind, and supportive.

Blessings to you and yours!

Marie
