Romans 8:31 If God is for us who can be against us.
Lately I’ve been thinking about God’s nearness a lot and remembering the many times and places He has made His presence known to me…
I’ve seen Him in the mountains at sunrise when the mist is rising, the moose is bugling in the distance, and the birds are singing their beautiful morning symphony.
I’ve seen Him on the ocean while sitting on a balcony and watching the incredible blueness of the water and the flying fishing playing on the waves. I’ve heard Him in the sound of the dolphins chattering in the dark of the evening.
I’ve seen Him in the ocean while snorkeling in the Caribbean. The colors of the tropical fish, the stingray stirring up the sand, and the small brown shark minding his own business, and the myriad of colors in the coral.
I’ve known his presence before and during surgery. Only he could guide the hands of the surgeons so that all that was left of an 8 1/2 pound cancerous tumor is a nasty scar.
I’ve known the calmness of His presence while waiting for 20 days for my Ray to wake from his Traumatic Brain Injury Coma.
I’ve seen the beauty of His creation in the more than 70 inches of snow we’ve had this year.
I’ve heard him in the beauty of Beethovan, Brahms, Mozart and Dvorak Symphonies.
My Lord is with me all the time. How about yours?
This wonderful post is such a blessing to me today! Thank you for networking with us on the CLIMB (blog hop)!

A Satisfied Spirit is true as you say , so often in life we tend to overlook His presence in everyday things and its good to be reminded afresh. It can be in things we take for granted , like just missing a huge traffic pileup which would of held us up for hours, thank you Lord ; the storm that by passed our suburb , thank you Lord . As you say let`s look for His imprint more earnestly !

Beautiful Marie, it is very True, we are never alone when we walk in Christ Jesus, (see below ) your focus goes so well with a message I received years ago, which I will post soon.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

That was a very timely scripture Anne. I’l be speaking at the Northwest Ohio Baptist Women’s Retreat in August. My topic is My Shepherd, My Story based on Psalm 23. These words will help me make a very important point about the contrast of still waters and deep waters. Marie
